Magnificent Antique Hand-Hammered Silver Presentation Boat Bowl (Navette Centerpiece)
Offered is an exceptional, exhibition-scale antique silver presentation centerpiece bowl, showcasing masterful hand-hammered and deeply chased craftsmanship. Designed in a graceful elongated navette (boat) form reminiscent of traditional Persian and Anglo-Indian kashkul vessels, this massive luxury piece weighs over a full kilogram.
The exterior of the bowl is entirely covered in densely clustered, high-relief scrolling floral vines, rosettes, and foliage set against a finely stippled background. The ends of the vessel culminate in striking, seamlessly integrated handles sculpted into stylized swan or cobra motifs. The entire piece rises elegantly from a flared, radially ribbed pedestal foot. Marked "SILVER" on the underside, this commanding centerpiece boasts incredible visual presence and represents a premier example of historic, heavy-gauge Eastern export silver art.
